Happiness

"Happiness shared with friends and family is multiplied by a thousand but happiness shared with God is immeasurable."
God has truly blessed me recently and I am excited about the future. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much! It is such a joy to share something with friends and family and to hear the happiness in their responses! I am grateful for everything that God is doing in my life!

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all of your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13

Stanley Cup Playoffs - Game 4

I think the pictures speak for themselves! It was a great game! My grandmother was here from Canada and it was awesome to have most of us in Blackhawk's attire! Even my 6 week old niece!
Britton gets so excited to see Kris! He thought that everyone was cheering "Go, Kris, Go" when they were saying "Go, Preds, Go" :P
The atmosphere was awesome!
It was very nice to see my long lost friend Brad at the game - he wasn't very happy with the score though! While I was waiting for him, someone spit gum in my hair. Oh the things people do at sports games!I love this picture!

Very proud of my cousin!

My Dad/Auntie Marsha's Visit

I was so excited that my dad and aunt were coming for a weekend! It was a fun filled weekend!! They got in late Friday night so we stayed up a little talking! I am 25 years old but my dad and I still give each other 'bear hugs' over the phone. Since we only see each other every 6 months or so this is our way of getting some semi-real hugs in :) My dad bought me this night shirt so everytime I miss him I can wear it! I love it -- I was so excited!!Before I went to Sarah and Scott's wedding on Saturday night.
For Sunday lunch, we celebrated Auntie Marsha's 40th birthday! It was a great weekend and I am glad she decided to spend her birthday with us!
She isn't spoiled, I promise! :D
After a delicious lunch we went for a round of putt putt! The weather was gorgeous!

Britton loves building tall towers with Opa!
Monday was Auntie Marsha's real birthday day and she wanted to go to IHOP!
She has sugar overload - chocolate chip pancakes with hershey's syrup...
when they came out to sing her 'Happy Birthday' they brought her ice cream! She was so excited!
Then we headed to the zoo for the day!
Rode the carousel!
It was another wonderful day!

Britton loves his Opa -- and I love my Dad! It was an amazing weekend! And I can't wait to see everyone in Canada in July!

Sarah and Scott's Wedding

Sarah and Scott are some good friends from high school. Their wedding was outside at the Belle Meade Plantation. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony.

Colossians 3:12-14 "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."
First dance!
Congratulations!

Playing with Britton

Here are some pictures of playing with Britton! He has a really cool bubble rocket that you have to jump on to make it go and I think me and Jen were having just as much fun with it as he was!!

Jen's Birthday

"Friends are the most important ingredient in this recipe called life"Tonight we celebrated Jen's birthday! I like to celebrate birthday weeks so we insituted that this week! Jen's birthday was Tuesday but she had to work! So on Wednesday we went to go get pedicures and went shopping! Jen got a beautiful dress and we bought matching shirts! Tonight I made dinner for Jen and Caleb, and Travis and Breanna. I made a delicious vegetarian burrito recipe from Food network. I should have taken pictures :) The burritos had zuchini, squash, red bell peppers; and on top homemade tomatillo salsa and corn relish. For dessert we had pumpkin cheesecake. It was a lot of fun to make and very yummy to eat(if I do say so myself)!! After eating way too much food, we went for a walk in the park! It was a lovely evening!!
Jen and Caleb have been such good friends to me! I love having them in my life! I know that if I ever need anything, they are always here! It is very reassuring to know that they live so close to me! God places people in your life right when you need them, and I truly believe this about Jen and Caleb.
