God In Shoes

God in Shoes was an awesome afternoon put together by the KY/TN conference to go out and witness to other women...by being God's hand and feet. Wonderful women from my church in Ridgetop!
It was a great afternoon and reminded me to look at God's blessings all around us!

My Niece

There has been much anticipation of Ms Paityn Hope. I have four nephews and was VERY excited about the birth of my niece. I missed the birth of Britton because I was graduating from college the next day. Because of my job as a NICU nurse I have been counting down the weeks and asking my sister lots of questions! So when March 9 was just around the corner I was nervous and excited and a mix of emotions!
I worked Saturday, Sunday, Monday nights. I couldn't sleep and work was going very slowly! But the weather was beautiful so I made the best of it and went for walks both Sunday and Monday! Monday when I was walking I felt God telling me to pray. So I stopped walking and got on my knees and prayed. I prayed for my family, and my life, and sweet Paityn.
Tuesday I left work at 5;30AM and slept for 2 1/2 hrs. I got here in time to watch Brandon carry Paityn across the hall to the nursery. And I have been staying the nights with Tamara and Paityn! I love it!! I love being an aunt! And I am very excited for what God has in store for the future!

Jeremiah 29:11-13 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Paityn Hope

Some of the pictures of Paityn while she was in the hospital! The yellow onsie that she has on says "Baby Sister." I bought this when we went to Florida in September last year. At that time Tamara didn't know if she was a girl or a boy. But I went with my gut that it was a girl. So this was the first girl baby gift that Tamara got!

Paityn and Britton

Here are some pictures of Britton showing us how to hold Paityn! When a new person walks into the room he wants to show them how to properly hold her!

Paityn Hope Batson's Birthday

Paityn brought Britton James and he was very excited! You can see the joy in Brandon's face!

I think Tamara looks wonderful for just having major surgery!
Britton wanted to go see his baby sister!
First family moments!
BABY SISTER!

I love the look on Brandon's face...he is looking at Tamara and Britton is content with Paityn!
I love her!!

The Beauty of Friendship

Last night I walked out of my house to an amazing surprise! Jen and Caleb had built me a flower bed at the front of my house, for my birthday!! God has blessed me with a wonderful friendship with Jen and Caleb. I love that they live just down the road!!
This morning I noticed all the details. Both Jen and I have "Love, Live, Laugh" around our houses. There are 3 flowers in the garden that say this too!

I love sunflowers!

There is even a rock with my middle name on it! Blessed...

"If friends were flowers, I'd pick you!"
